Knowre Launches Algebra 2 Curriculum, Adding to Its Award-Winning Adaptive Secondary Math Program

New York, NY (July 31, 2014) – Knowre, the award-winning cloud-based secondary math program, announced today that it has released its Algebra 2 curriculum, adding to Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 content currently in the Knowre library.

Knowre’s new Algebra 2 curriculum is aligned to Common Core State Standards and many state-specific standards. It covers the complete course through 13 chapters and nearly 80 interactive lessons. Knowre’s gamified features engage and motivate students, and the clear step-by-step guidance and 800+ concept videos provide continuous support and instruction. In addition to the new curriculum, Knowre has enhanced the user experience by adding new gamification elements, further navigation and communication tools, and a greater variety of question types.

Knowre’s unique technology provides an unrivaled level of personalized instruction through a patented algorithm and enables on-going student assessments at the most granular level, giving teachers a detailed understanding of each student’s knowledge gaps. Knowre fills those gaps with adaptive and personalized review curricula that address each student’s individual weaknesses.

“School administrators have told us there is a dearth of strong math applications for secondary schools and teachers,” says David Joo, Knowre’s Co-Founder and Co-CEO. “Our new Algebra 2 curriculum provides students with the support they need to achieve math success as they work their way up the math continuum and into life beyond secondary school.”

Knowre’s flexibility allows schools to use the program in a variety of ways – from core curriculum to supplemental, from remediation to enrichment. Knowre can be accessed 24/7 on any computer or tablet with Internet access.

Knowre was named winner of “Best Instructional App” in the NYC Schools 2013 Gap App Challenge. The competition set out to find the math program that best addresses student learning gaps for middle school students.
