Daekyo, One of Asia’s Largest Education Companies, Partners With Knowre to Offer Adaptive Learning Technology to Students

New York, NY (May 7, 2015) – Today, Knowre, the award-winning education technology company with an innovative adaptive learning program for secondary mathematics, and Daekyo (http://eng.daekyo.com/En/), one of Asia’s largest education companies, announced a new strategic partnership. Through this agreement, Daekyo will offer Summit Math™, a comprehensive digital math solution powered by Knowre, to Daekyo’s over 1 million customers across its 650 learning centers in South Korea, a country that has consistently ranked top 5 globally in math performance.

“Daekyo is a global leader in offering highly specialized all-round education to each and every one of its students,” said David Joo, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Knowre. “We are thrilled to partner with Daekyo to provide a digital solution that will further personalize and enrich the already high-quality educational experience its learning centers offer.”

“By partnering with Daekyo, we are growing the global reach of our technology and complementing our existing US K-12 school/district business. This partnership strengthens our vision to provide the most effective education to students around the world,” added YJ Kim, also Co-founder and Co-CEO of Knowre.

Knowre’s technology, which identifies unique student knowledge gaps and subsequently fills those gaps with personalized content generated by a proprietary algorithm, in conjunction with Daekyo’s world-class learning centers and instructors, will create an unparalleled marriage of technology and pedagogy that can revolutionize the learning process.

Soo-Wan Park, CEO of Daekyo, commented, “We are excited to partner with Knowre and bring Knowre’s state-of-the-art digital learning solution to our customers. We always strive to offer our students the best possible education and believe that Summit Math™ is a key component to that and consistent with our learner-oriented “Eye-Level” program.”

In May 2013, Knowre was named First Place Winner and “Best Instructional App” by the New York City Department of Education in the Gap App Challenge, and was recently selected as Finalist for Best Mathematics Instructional Solution in the Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) CODiE Awards. Knowre was also named one of the World’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Education by Fast Company in 2014.
